Ouachita Mike

I’m a good ol’ Southern boy from Northeast Louisiana transplanted into a life in central Indiana. I enjoy working with my hands, making things, and getting into the nitty-gritty on how things work.On my site you’ll find postings, videos, guides, and editorials about family, faith, philosophy, gardening, raising chickens, outdoor life, and the rest of the things I find myself caught up in. My philosophy is pretty simple: work with your hands, grow what you can, make what you can, appreciate what you have, and don’t forget to enjoy the ride.
